![]() ![]() Windows Media Player Plus! has been developed for Windows Media Player 11 and higher. Regarding playback, Windows Media Player Plus! has a few interesting things to offer: party shuffle, restoring the last active playlist (including the exact item and the playback position), displaying currently played media in Windows Media Player’s title bar, options such as “stop after current” and “close after current”, offering the same features of the “What I’m listening to” plugin and the “Play Next” option when right-clicking a media item in the library. ![]() Other ways of offering library support are disabling group headers in the Library Pane, disc number support (showing disc numbers in the Track number column and asking Windows Media Player to use the disc numbers to sort tracks from an album) and bringing back the “Find in library” right-click option of older versions of Windows Media Player. Searching capabilities are improved with a real “find as you type” feature of the media library. The interface is enriched by better controls: you can add global hotkeys, which means you can control Windows Media Player from any other application. Tag support includes Tag Editor Plus, an alternative for Windows Media Player’s Advanced Tag Editor. There are a variety of playback and interface enhancements that Windows Media Player Plus! offers. ![]()
